Skin assessments are $100 and every client that visits The Skyn Lounge is required to have one.
For new cosmetic injectables clients specifically, you are required to book an initial 30-minute skin consultation. These initial consultations are $50, which is thereafter redeemable on any injectables service.
Having a skin assessment is the most important step of your skin journey so that our team can:
- Understand your skin concerns and goals Outline the treatments and cosmeceutical products we recommend
- Help you prepare your skin in advance for certain treatments
- Help you understand what lifestyle factors might be impacting your skin
We request a 24-hours cancellation notice. Changes and cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged at 50%. Regrettably, all ‘no shows’ will be charged in full and gift vouchers considered redeemed.
Our therapists are in high demand, so we encourage booking 2-4 treatments in advance to secure your desired time slot.
There is a free car park directly out the front of the salon. If the car park is full, try the dirt car park across the road and stroll over!
For safety reasons, we kindly ask that you don’t bring your children to your appointments. If it is absolutely necessary, please arrange for a trusted babysitter, as our treatment rooms are not suitable for children.
Yes. You can request this when booking online or simply let us know when rebooking in clinic. While we may occasionally need to accommodate changes, we will inform you beforehand.
We accept all major credit cards, cash and Afterpay. Please note we have a tap surcharge and credit surcharge of 1.65%. To avoid the surcharge, please insert your card instead and select ‘savings’. We do not accept bank cheques or AMEX.
Yes, there is a 12-month expiration date on all prepaid services. We cannot extend packages or prepaid services outside of this period.

Absolutely! At The Skyn Lounge, we firmly stand against animal testing and exclusively support brands that share our values.
Unfortunately, we cannot sell our brands online as the ranges include strong active products; products that contact active ingredients, which are key components scientifically proven to have specific beneficial effects on the skin.
Our products are also exclusive to existing clients of The Skyn Lounge. Only once you have had your skin consultation with us can you order your products via email. You can then pick them up at the salon or we can post them to you.
We discourage using a combination of skincare brands. Brands use different ingredients and formulations that may not be compatible with one another. Our advice is to stick to one trusted brand for a seamless and enjoyable skincare experience, with minimal risk of complications.
For certain procedures and treatments, yes. This is because they require specific pre and post-care with active products to prepare your skin for safety and best results.
We do, however, also offer some treatments where your skin does not need to be prepped.
Yes, we have a range of treatments you can still enjoy while pregnant or breastfeeding. Our products can also still be used except for any containing Vitamin A. Please let your skin therapist know so they can advise which treatments and products to cease while you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
While there are no studies to prove whether cosmetic injectables pose health risks to your baby, we take a conservative approach and will not treat anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding with cosmetic injectables. Your health and peace of mind are of utmost importance to us at The Skyn Lounge.
We are unable to perform any skin or injectable treatments on you if you have active cold sores; this helps us create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone! If you are prone to cold sores, we recommend taking an antiviral before any peels, skin needling, IPL, Venus Viva, Plasma Pen or injectable treatments.
Yes, however as there are select treatments and cosmetic injectables that are viable for you, please book in for a skin assessment so we can tailor your plan to suit your skin concerns and goals.
